French Toast Recipe

FRENCH TOAST

Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes                                                               Serves: 3-4 




INGREDIENTS: 
  1. Bread Slices 
  2. Eggs
  3. Milk
  4. Banana Slices
  5. Chopped Cashew Nuts
  6. Raisins
  7. Vanilla Essence 
  8. Cinnamon Powder (Dalchini)
  9. Salt
  10. Powdered Sugar 
  11. Nutella 
  12. Butler
  13. Refined Oil


METHOD:
  1. For making Classic French Toast take a mixing bowl. In it beat 2 Eggs. To this add 1 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Essence, 2 tablespoon of  powdered sugar, pinch of salt and a pinch of Cinnamon (dalchini) powder. Mix everything very well.
  2. In a frying pan add 1 tablespoon of refined oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Let it heat up.
  3. Take a piece of bread slice, dip it in the egg & milk batter and place it on the pan. 
  4. Cook on both the sides until its medium golden brown in color.
  5. Classic French Toast is ready to serve with maple syrup or honey. 
  6. In order to add a twist to this recipe, spread nutella on one side of the toast. On this toast place banana slices and roasted cashew and raisins. Sandwich it with another French toast. Dust in some powdered sugar on top and serve immediately.  


NOTE:
  1. Classic French Toast can be served with maple syrup, honey or ice cream.
  2. Add toppings as your choice. Nutella,Banana,Nuts make a great combination.
  3. This recipe is ideal for breakfast or supper for kids as well as all the members of the family.
