Indian Chutney recipe

CORIANDER or DHANIA CHUTNEY

Cooking Time: 5 minutes                                                                        Serves:10




INGREDIENTS: 
  1. Coriander or Dhania leaves (three handful) 
  2. 4-6 Cloves of Garlic
  3. 2 whole Green Chilies 
  4. Lemon Juice
  5. Salt
  6. Sugar 
  7. Tamarind or Imli Pulp
METHOD:
  1. In a blender add 3 handful of coriander leaves, 6 cloves of garlic, 2 whole green chilies, 2 tablespoons of tamarind pulp, salt according to taste and 3 tablespoon of powdered sugar. 
  2. Now to this add 2-3 tablespoon of water and blend the mix for 20-30 seconds. 
  3. To this add juice of a lemon. 
  4. Mix it well and serve with pakodas, sandwiches, kebabs, barbecues etc.



NOTE:
  1. Make sure there is proper amount of sweet and sour flavor. This chutney should be tangy as well as little sweet. So balance the flavors well. 
  2. This recipe is ideal to serve as a dipping sauce with barbecues, kebabs, pakodas, sandwiches and other snacks.
