- Cardamom powder
- Oil
METHOD:
- Sugar Syrup:
- In a pan add one and half cup of sugar and one cup of water. Let it come to boil.

- Add little milk to the bread pieces and knead bread and milk for 2-3 minutes to form a dough which is not too soft or too hard.
- Divide the dough into equal sized small balls.
- Take a ball and roll it. Make a well in the center and add chopped nuts and raisins. Close the ball and roll into a smooth round ball making sure there are no cracks on the outer surface.
- Fry these bread balls in refined oil on medium to low flame until golden brown on all the sides.
- Dip the hot bread gulab jamuns into hot sugar syrup and let it soak for 3-4 hours until it has soaked the syrup and has turned soft. Serve hot or cold.

- You can add nuts inside the gulab jamun as per your preference. If you want you can simply make them without any stuffing inside.
- Don't fry the gulab jamuns on high heat. Use low to medium flame making sure all sides are evenly fried.
- Soak the hot gulab jamuns in piping hot syrup for 3-4 hours until they are soft and melting in the mouth.
